7 card stud poker rules

  1. When the card are dealt every player has to place a ante.

  2. Every single player will be dealt two face down cards and one fac up .

  3. The betting starts with the player with the card of the lowest value also known as the force or bring in bet. Only in this round suits have any value.

  4. Every poker player is dealt an other card face up named fourth street.

  5. The next betting round will start with the player with the two highest cards.

  6. When two players have the same value of hand than the player most close to the left of the dealer can start with the action.

  7. All the players are dealt an other face up card called fifth street .again the play with the highest hand can start the betting action .

  8. Now the sixth betting round starts just like the previous rounds the player with the highst card can start .

  9. The last round also known as the river starts one card will be dealt to all players face down .The player with the highset hand may start the betting

  10. When there are not enough cards ,there will be taken one community card face up and this card will be shared with all players.

  11. Now after all betting rounds there will be a showdown and any player with the hifhest card using five of the seven cards wins the pot .

7 card stud high/low poker rules

7 card stud poker Hi/Lo (8 or better) will be played in the same way with a few exceptions.

  1. The player will not tell if its going for the high or the low .

  2. When there is a showdown the pot will be splited between the player with the highest and the lowest card..

  3. To qualify for the lowest hand you cannot have any card higher than 8 .
